The Leadmill have been given a year's notice to vacate the premises after 40 years of it being a music venue, and a lot of money spent by the Leadmill to make the place what it is today.

There is a petition so please sign.

All taken at the Leadmill on some of the occasions I've visited from the 1980s through to the present and now that my youngest niece is at Hallam, she's got the bug too.#wecantloseleadmill

I haven’t been on here for literally years but felt like posting after last night’s gig, which was brilliant.

Jarvis guesting was the icing on the cake, with White Light/White Heat’ being the high light of the night for me.

Richard and Jarvis were smoother than a couple of buttered snakes. Tremendous.

Just to say thank you for all involved in The Leadmill gigs. The Leadmill staff are all absolutely lovely (especially Ned and Stuart), I didn't grow up in Sheffield but I have seen evidence this week of how much the place is loved, fingers crossed they receive enough signatures on the petition to move it along.

As usual the band and Clive were just incredible, the music - wow, just wow, blown away! The guest stars were an added bonus, and what a bonus! Self Esteem (Rebeca Taylor), Jarvis, Pete McKee and Helen Sharman, fabulous each one.

Boss!
