Is this reworking the first of a project or a one off? Is there a reworking album coming?

As featured in the finale of the new Full Monty series, which despite being utterly daft in places - I thought was charming and funny and had a lot to say about the state of the country.

Now then strangers....

So I happened upon the rework of 'the only road' and its shoved me back in here to say hello, and to gush a bit.

I first posted in this board to ask HRH the chords to the Only Road. wish i could find the original post as i never actually learned to play it according to his instruction.

Anyways, The Only Road was the first Hawley track I ever heard, and remains my favourite to this day, so it is, of course, sacrilege for it to be reworked. But then i listened to it...nearly teared up it is so beautifully done, very reminiscent of my second favourite H 'track - Lady Solitude. Can just picture Shez sat caressing the riff like he always did on stage with that.

So. nice one that fella.

Hope you are all well, place seems a but quieter here since the old days where at least a few posts a day in the RANT thread. Maybe everyones found another quiet corner of the interwebs to convene and chat.

It's been a very long time for me from my last visit here ...but I like this place. I konw fb has replaced forums and this is the main reason because most people (like me first) leaves forums, but here it's cosy in a way fb never won't be.
