I've been considering for a while, buying some woods from The woodland Trust, for my grand-daughter. Does anyone know anything about it? It seems like a good thing, but little doubts keep popping into my head. But surely The Woodland Trust are the goodies. From what I can gather, you give The Trust some money, and then you get a piece of paper saying its yours. I also hope it means that no matter what, it can't be built on, and will be safe forever. I've looked at the small print etc, but I'm still weary of it. I love the thought that when we are long gone, maybe she will take her grand children there and say, my nanny and granddad saved this for me, its my wood, and now it's yours. Has anyone done this? Is it how it works?
