Just watched a brilliant and fascinating documentary on Netflix called "
Searching for Sugar Man" about an American singer from Detroit in the Seventies. His first album, "Cold Fact", should have been a major commercial success but for some reason wasn't. However, in South Africa (unbeknownst to him) he was absolutely massive, bigger than The 'Stones, Bob Dylan, even bigger than Elvis.
I would urge anyone to watch it if at all possible, it is an incredible story. I really like his voice and the instrumentation, arrangements and production, in my humble opinion, I think is excellent. I immediately bought the album and a couple of tracks from the second ("Coming From Reality")
