I could go on all day............. my family, friends and cat, being appreciated and needed, sunshine, having a day off work, light sparkling on water, the nostalgia and scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, shopping in York, tea at Betty's, books, a roaring log fire, Richard's music, Richard himself, and this forum!!! :*:

<*>

Amongst many other things of course........... :*:

the gentle strumming of my 12-string guitar on a humid summer night, with a half-empty bottle of JD. Utter bliss...

Taking the kids and the dog to the park this morning, before most people had opened one eye. Getting breakfast and the papers when I got back. Having Sunday dinner cooked for me, and tucking my little angels up in bed. Then hitting the bottle.....

A few things that have happened recently in my life have made me very happy, mainly getting back into the music world after a few years away - which brought me to this forum and two others through which I have made some good friends.

My family make me happy and I'd love to have a dog but it's not practical in my flats.

I get depressed just by reading on How pissed off are you?, so I thought I'd start this thread, although it might not be as pop as the opposite. And I'm not talking about winning a million dollars, I'm talking about 'the little things' in life. So what makes you happy?

Happiness is a big house in the country, and at night running around barefoot in the wet grass!
It's someone who sits next to you until you fall asleep, without blameing you for it the next morning.
Hearing your friend's band on the radio.

PAYDAY - not til thursday though

Whitby tommorow, that'll definately make me happy, especially if its good weather, which it almost certainly will be.
