If an action star was up for election as MP in your ward, which one would you be most likely to vote for. and why?!

I would personally like to see Arnie up for election in the Healey ward in Sheffield, just so his election slogan could be "HEAL-LEY!", said in the same style he said "JEN-NIE!" in Commando.

I've picked Chuck Norris for comedy value. Plus he's very big in Germany, so he could help forge better trade links with Europe.

Sorry to quibble, but isn't Charles Bronson dead?

Charles Bronson is indeed dead, which is why he gets my vote. He's an example to everyone, a street vigilante killing people with a kosh make out of coins in a sock. That's what we need to clean up the streets.

Socks at the ready...?

He is indeed dead, but for purpose of this exercise we will pretend he's alive, well, and has an interest in local government.

Why would being dead exclude him? Can't see that would make him less capable than the average politition...

I voted for Bruce Willis purely on the basis that Die Hard is the best film that any of those lot have made

I voted for Bruce Willis because he has made the shittest music of all of them. I once won one of his albums as a "prize" on local radio.

It's gotta be Sly.

I like my politicians to look like they've been smashed in the face with a frying pan repeatedly.

Like John Prescott. And Margaret Beckett.

It had to be Bronson for me (even though he's dead) I find all the rest to be of the 'tool' variety!
