God help me, I find myself with a desire to buy a bass guitar. Haven't yet mastered a six string, nothing like, but always wanted to try a bass. Not really got the room for more stuff in the house & severely lacking in musical aptitude. However, the sound would bring me great joy & would probably annoy the neighbours. So potentially a good idea.

Perhaps acquire a small set of drums as well . . . .

One can never have too many guitars, gadgets (and in your case) vintage motorcycles. You'll need a bass amp too....

Sounds like a brilliant idea to me.
And a bass only has 4 strings as opposed to six with a lead guitar, shouldn't that make it easier to play? :?
Mark King certainly makes it look easy

Sadly I sold mine a few years ago. Knew I'd regret that :*:

Good man! It's the start of a very slippery (but enjoyable) slope ;)

Being a specialist of the Impossible Question, my latest request is how on earth could I obtain the bass tabs to Love At First Sight (instrumental version of Je t'aime moi non plus) by Sounds Nice? Herbie Flowers' bass work on this has me mesmerised every time.

Pleasure - the Ultimate Guitar site is quite useful, although the quality of the chords and tabs on there varies somewhat.
