Booked for Wakefield.
Monday and Tuesday were brilliant!! Never seen the audience lit up so much, literally, dont know if that was deliberate or not? Also, on Tuesday, I've never seen so many RH lookalikes, they were everywhere!!
Tuck up on the scherbet though, £4.80 for a can of Estrella, can the size of a coke, £9.00 a pint!! I know we all have overheads, but come on.
Still a great couple of nights though, new and old songs were top draw. Thanks to all.................................Especially the bloke on his own down the front on Tuesday for the first 4/5 numbers :*:

I am so frigging relieved he told people they could come down the front, I knew but I was on my own and not as brave as that guy. It was fantastic even if I did feel a little self conscious as inexplicably I had no-one behind me and yes there was a lot of light :-) I therefore needed another of those eye wateringly expensive Esterellas! I'll have a hip flask next time. ..>

So jealous we couldn't make it; sounds like the gigs were brilliant and the video looks deadly.

Great review in The Times too. And the correction by Denise is spot on, Clive is class.

Long time lurker, first time posting.
You're very welcome! :D
Very different to the previous night when people congregated at the front, I just assumed the same would happen again!
Was just a little bit awkward down there, plucking up the courage to ask RH to get you to come down for the first few songs then thankfully he said hello to me and then I could ask him.
What a top bloke, thank you pal!
Shame about the autograph numpty at the end, maybe that's why we didn't get the third encore as per the setlist.
Fast forward to Thursday and Noel Gallagher I was the bloke in the Spurs shirt at the front that got the brunt of his tongue! Though wierdly there's someone else claiming it on Twitter. Nowt so queer as folk, etc!

There is also a gig on 30 September at Dublin Olympia - this is not included in the pre-sale.

Bravo! Well done e-botti, if I see you there, I'll say hello, I think you were seated fairly near us at the "Crucible" in Sheffield , a few years ago now. In my humble opinion, one of the very best gigs performed by Richard and the band.

Dublin sorted - tickets on Row A lost to the internet 'ether' - now a bit further back in the Circle but still on the aisle - just hoping Neil McSweeney / Vinny Peculiar has a gig there come Sept 29th / Oct 1st...

Looks like they've added Saturday 12th October to the Sheffield list, same venue.
