Haven't been on the forum for a few weeks as one of my closest friends has died following a cycling accident, leaving a partner and a little girl. Organising the funeral, comforting my kids and generally trying my best but life has lost its shine for me. Take care all and hold your loved ones close. xx

That's tragic Helen, so shocking and sad. Stuff like that really makes you think how precious life is doesn't it. Be kind to yourself too and lots love to you and your kids xx

What can you say - get out the old photos - play those records you used to share - go back to a happier time and the memories that will not fade - it's not much use - we all want our friends back.

As Alan said - so sorry to hear this.

xxx

Sorry to hear your sad news, it sounds like you have been a great comfort to the bereaved family, it is so hard to deal with a tragedy like that.

not been around much either Helen, so sorry to read about your friend...I can't begin to imagine what you're all going through although it must be terribly hard trying to be supportive to his widow and grieving yourself at the same time, my thoughts are with you, take care love and try and look after yourself too xxxxx
