i trod on an upturned plug last night, full weight (which is considerable) with no slippers on. it was one of those pains where speech won't come no matter how hard i tried.

i know stuff like child birth might hurt a bit ( ) but what's the worst pain you've suffered?

Toothache was the worst, late at night with no painkillers in the house and a rolling, agonising gnawing going on inside my gum.

Suspect childbirth may be worse though, but hormones are supposed to make women forget it afterwards.

Anything dental..i'd sooner have my legs up in stirrups than have my wisdom teeth removed.. awful! of course there is leg waxing, under arm waxing and bikini waxing, but that of course is self inflicted.

I'd rate childbirth quite high, but the pain I had from a Rheumatoid Arthritis flare-up after Richard's gig at The Crucible last year was the worst pain I've ever had. Thought a hot bath would ease it, but it made it worse! I couldn't move for the pain, and Sean had to fish me out of the bath as if I was an old woman.

Dental pain is awful too - and what about that exquisite pain of biting on a piece of silver paper from a toffee onto a filling? Ouch!! :x

Dental pain. I can never work out why teeth are so sensitive - I suppose they worked fine until we discovered refined sugar, it was all downhill from then.

It's a shame, British people don't look after their teeth very well....and nice teeth, along with nice aftershave, do it for me every time :D

Dental abcesses are quite high on the scale. Wisdom teeth removal - well, the aftermath - not so bad, I was so full of painkillers I think I almost enjoyed it :? A steroid injection in the shoulder was pretty bad, one of those sickening pains. Surely the worst must be burns & broken bones, & thankfully I haven't had either of those

Banging a shin bone hurts like hell.
Stubbing a toe on a bed caster and earache. I've only ever seen stars once and that was when I badly twisted my right ankle.

I got kicked up the backside by a bouncer when i was 14, right on the tailbone and it hurt for ages.

I'd forgotten about that 'til now.

The sound of a little boy's heartbreaking as Spurs play like a bunch of half pissed, Sunday league no-marks and lose the semis to a team who couldn't knock the skin off a custard.
