Puff. On Sunday night you were drinking like a budgie with chapped lips before falling afuckingsleep about 12!

And you should try a mint for the spunk problem.

I reckon beer, wine and cigarettes are the things that make hangovers worse. I've given up smoking and I'm sticking to the rum and gingers and haven't had a hangover for a while.

Never really found the perfect hangover cure, but a good fry up and a mug of tea seems to do the trick.

Hmm, I don't smoke and I get fierce hangovers. Oddly enough I only drank red wine last friday and there was no trace of a hangover the next day.

Hangover cure - Carrot soup and baguettes. Lots of butter.

no defo the older you get the worse the hangovers. When i was 18 all of 12 years ago I'd be out 3 nights a week.. full sessions in town, meet at 7 drink until half 1, up at half 7 to get to college the next morning. if I did that now I'd need a week to recover, in the hospital.

a hangover cure i use to great effect is
Image
one of these sliced in half and squeezed into a pint pot along with the ginger beer
Image
and three cubes of
Image

we used it on tour and to a large degree it works,a far better cure is not to drink three bottles of wine preceded by eight pints of Guinness and staying up all night, possibly an early night accompanied by a good book.........

Nah  [/img]

diet irn bru does the trick...

my hangovers are bad, but then i drink cider so what do i expect.

if i know i'm having a big night out i have to book the next day off these days.

when i was younger i'd go out all the time but then i worked in a record shop and hung out with the manager so you'd get away with it.

i rarely made morning lectures when i was at uni....

A big night out these days is nothing like the big nights out from 10 years ago...
A big night out for me is a big night in, usually lots of wine..
i cannot bare the thought of loosing a whole day to a hangover. It would n't be so bad if i was left to wallow in my own misery and crash on the sofa for the day but young kids don't understand ' mummys not feeling very well today and doesn't want to make buns, go to the park buy a goldfish!
There is no cure.. ihave tried them all.

beer and wine make a hangover worse? who'd have thought that?

i try to pace meself these days and know my cut off point. usually when you think, i'll just have one more, that's when you should stop. how i wish i'd listened to myself on my 50th.
