first day back at work today and i was sooo glad to be out the house. Made 3 big meat and tatta pies and bread and butter pudding... hope the kids are hungry

the kids next door from us made a 7 ft snowman, to say I was impressed is an understatment, they were up at midnight the other night still going on it and they are only about 10  . Its fading now fast though, the head just fell off, very sad.

I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

It's always rather depressing when everything turns from white back to dull grey overnight. Even if it has made things a bit tricky for a while :?

It'll soon calm down.... and then people will be worrying whether we can expect floods or a heatwave this summer. :?

Folks in cars are still slithering about in the slush outside here. Slightly worrying, as I don't have a front garden for them to land in if it all goes tits up

With great joy I see it's going to warm up later on this week. I like snow..but I've had enough now.

My pipes froze up..so no water..not even hot. Then when I turned the heating up the shower started leaking all over the place.

Now the water is all contaminated and undrinkable. Today I had to go to the local public information/toilets to fill up my kettle..Well there is only one local shop.
