Apologies thought there was a thread about these already but can't find it.

All I can say is get hold of tickets for the autumn tour! Was at their first gig last night at Portsmouth Guildhall. Bloody brilliant. Had orchestra with them ... strings, horns ... all splendidly swelling (made me feel a little gutted that Richard hadn't been able to get a string section for the RAH gig).

Think they played everything off the album, a b-side and another song I didn't recognise. Very enthusiastic audience ... rather too much damp-pants action coming from the lads in the crowd. Only played for an hour and no encore despite enthralled and rapturous audience.

Highlight for me was probably The Meeting Place and Black Plant but it was all just spot on. Giddy stuff.

Quick blast of The age of the understatement (sound not great)

Got some pics on the phone ... just for disneytime

Sounds great :D (And looks it too, of course )

I'll see if I can get tickets to see them at some point. Glad you enjoyed it!

I think they might be doing Glasgow this week too. Otherwise, it'll be October. Get in there

I want to see them live. When I've seen them play live on TV they've blown me away.

Going to see Mongrel in October - now there is a Sheffield supergroup. Very intriguing line up.

Review here ... tickets for October going fast, couple of venues already sold out.

... think it's a little unfair on Alex who more than held his own ... and he was definitely the one those lads at the front were getting excited about

In the Heat of the Morning is on the Age of the Understatement EP along with Billy Fury's Wondrous Place and Two Hears in Two Weeks.

There's loads of videos on You Tube from their Paris gig.

Use this link to start with and then pick up the others from the same person - the picture quality is not great but the sound is really good on their recordings (someone else has posted but nothing like the same quality).
