The FNB have recorded a version of 'Lady' for an upcoming radio session, sounds alright too....strings were tricky though.

I have some of the bootlegs of Dennis and Brian together. It's mostly them high and goofing around and the sound quality is poor. Is there anything else more substantial from the two of them together?
I had this album when I was in High School and had lost it long ago. I'm so glad it's been reissued (and with the Bambu recordings!). I read "Catch a Wave," and a couple of the books on the recording of "Pet Sounds" last summer, so this is a nice way to spend this summer. "POB" is so reflective of the California sound of the late 70s.

Not sure. I've got tons of Beach Boys bootlegs from the sixties but nothing of Brian & Dennis together. Just ordered 'Catch A Wave' by the way, is it a decent read?

I really liked "Catch a Wave," but I like "Wouldn't It Be Nice," by Charles Granata even better. It's all about the making of Pet Sounds and it's fascinating.

I'll probably check that one out as well monkeywrench. Just wading through the B.Wilson autobiography at the moment (again). A cracking read but he didn't half go to hell & back for his music, poor lad.
