SEB Promotions and NoCarbon Records (Universal Music Group) request the pleasure of your company at an exclusive preview performance by The Parish Music Box of their debut album.

Paradise Is Pocket-Sized is a tattered emotional landscape of huge sweeps and lush melodic tones. Think Bowie’s Life On Mars meets Richard Hawley and you're on the way there. Intimate stories of regret, loneliness, love and loss aplenty. But don't be fooled – there are hard-bitten lyrical twists and turns along the way that are reminiscent of Morrissey at his best. Simply gorgeous.

Book now, this show is already well on the way to being sold out!

We'll probably get complaints that it is in London - but I'm happy about that, I shall be there.

Well, went to this last night and it was a seriously good gig. Notwithstanding having to wait in a seedy alleyway surrounded by some shops of a dodgy nature. But hey, it was Soho, so I knew what to expect.

PMB are obviously a class act. The standard of musicianship was excellent. I think they should support Mr. H in the very near future. It would make for a fantastic gig.

I'm sure there were a few "Hawleyboarders" there but obviously quite hard to spot due to subdued lighting. Perhaps next time badges would help?!

Roll on the next one, hopefully as support to Mr. H?

Yep PMB were very good - the lead singer's voice reminded me of Gene Pitney!

:D

Great gig, I took one short video of Sand Apple which I'm hoping Andy will let me upload to You Tube.

I've been a friend of theirs on My Space for a while due to the Cousteau connection and it was nice to meet Andy and Clive in the flesh at last.

Did you manage to post the video in the end?

I put it on Facebook but never got round to putting it on You Tube, I'll do that at the weekend. It's not a great video though.

Not great quality.

Andy's comment on Facebook was that the suit is a bit bright!! :thumleft:
