Post subject: | Henderson's Relish |
I've just been given a bottle of Henderson's relish by a friend who went to Sheffield for the weekend and knows of my penchant for sauces. As a relish virgin, my immediate impression is that it looks exactly like Worcester sauce. Does it also taste exactly like Worcester sauce? Is it best used in cooking, or can I splosh it liberally over my dinner? |

get it splashed on some fish n chips or some beef n yorkshire puds. or as paul pointed out, on your face in the morning, on your toothbrush, use it to wash your hair [edit: damn, Richard got there first. grrrr]and have a dash in your first coffee of the morning. |

Is it wheat free (i.e. thickener isn't modified starch)? |

After this outpouring of enthusiasm I can barely wait to get home and splash it all over my tea. What with it being 30 degrees in London I was toying with the idea of a ham salad or something, but now I'm considering a shepherds pie. I'm guessing it would work nicely with that? |
