I'm booked for December, concert and hotel. This all becoming real. I'm scrolling
through all the posts to start planning my trip to Sheffield!

I've got 2 days first in Liverpool, then at least the one night in your city. The next two days are open. So suggestions are all very welcome! Countryside? See Manchester? Too many choices.

I haven't decided between a Brit Rail pass or car hire. I have proudly driven in the UK before, hadn't shifted in years, but mastered drives from London to Cardiff and Brighton. But it is stressfull. But if I can handle NYC...I could spin around your roundabouts the "wrong" way.

Looking forward to meeting some of you! I take it I just show up at Fagan's :)

Definitely Fagans - the food there is wonderful.

Castleton is worth a visit, lovely village, the Devil's Arse cavern to explore, decent walking area.

I'm an occasional visitor to Sheffield so not totally au fait with what is what, but the art gallery is good. there's also the Millennium Gallery, Winter Garden.

A couple of other sites which may duplicate what is on the above.

Thank you so much! Oh I am so excited, but I have to dial it back down until December!

I know the shows are early in the week at a busy time, but if any locals are taking the day off to recover and want to meet up, I'd love that!

Not going to the December Sheffield show but live near Liverpool - so if you fancy a few drinks drop us a message - meanwhile here's a link for independent local places worthy of a drop in during your stay :

Thank you, Poppy Dog. That site is fantastic. I'm already making a list of things to do.

I would love to meet up. I better get in training for your pints. ;)
