Spent a fab night out in Sheffield again last night .....Fagan's for food with Shaz, Kate, Steve and Sue...and so nice to finally meet Dave and Sophie .... then up to The Old House fo drinks with the lovely Janskys, Mandy and Paul, then across the road to The Frog and Parrot for a fabulous gig ..... then back to Fagan's for a late night drink and a nice bit of Irish music.....And a hello from Luke....roll on the next gig in May! |

Fagan's is beginning to feel like my local, (how I wish it was) so lovely and welcoming and filled with familiar faces. Such a great night hard to pick a best bit, Tom's fish and chips were definitely up there as was seeing the Janskys live at long last, great gig, Pat gave me a cd and I listened to it all the way home. Last orders in Fagan's with the lovely diddley dee music coming from the other room, a half of guiness (I was driving) and lovely Luke coming over to say some lovely things (what a nice guy) rounded off the night nicely. What made it for me was the company, was saying to Jean and Shaz, can't believe it was only last September in Buxton that I met them in person, I've made so many lovely friends through this place. Great to see everyone x |

Know what you mean Kate, we were clearing out some drawers today & found a ticket from Richards gig in Holmfirth in 2009. I wouldn't let Paul throw it away because that's where I first met Jean, silly sod am I.

it's a top pub isn't it? They've done a great job in getting it back up and running to say it was completely flooded a few years ago. Great to sit outside with a pint and watch the River! |

yes...Nick was telling me about that.......we could see what they were doing outside....... they were interviewing and photographing some musicians out there... to do with the Tramlines Festival I think...... they said you had had a good night on Friday.... |

yes that was it....they moved a pot of dead daffs and brought out the sunflowers...how cool....thanks for that! |
