Richard has been welcomed into TBHEF as their latest Ambassador with the following statement: "Richard's career in music has seen him critically acclaimed across a diverse range of work, from British indie bands The Longpigs and Pulp to producing Duane Eddy and writing with Lisa Marie Presley, his two Mercury Prize nominations clearly tell you he's an artist for real music lovers. Richard grew up with a huge love for Buddy's music and serenaded us with wonderful tunes from the golden age, both Buddy's and a beautiful version of The Everly Brothers' Roving Gambler. It's a privilege to welcome such a connoisseur of Buddy's era into TBHEF, and thank you to Beth Nielsen Chapman for presenting Richard with his Atkin Buddy Holly tribute guitar."
