Been a long time since I've been on here, so I don't know if Richard comes on here anymore but I'll post any way. I recall Richard had a problem with Arthritis some years back after breaking a leg? I spoke to him briefly about his time in a wheelchair after his gig in Brick Lane. Thing is I now have Arthritis going on following a leg fracture and I keep thinking back to what Richard went through because there are parallels. I am a guitarist and now can't play. The Docs I have spoken to say it's likely a reaction to the break but with Covid going on I won't see an actual Rheumatologist until January. When I go on the Rheumatoid Arthritis groups on FB it paints a dark picture but Richard is out playing and walking about. I know we all have our individual stories regarding this horrendous disease but it would be great to hear a positive account of getting back to 'normal'. When you're in it, it seems like the end but the Docs say it could just go away any time. |

I've got it in the neck and right shoulder, to a degree - it comes and goes, but in my case it seems to be affected by the weather. If I lived somewhere that was constantly warm I probably wouldn't suffer. |
