But that's what God invented jiffy bags and recordable DVDs for, innit?

:D

Like I say, I can understand the convenience and immediacy of mp3s from the casual listener's point of view but in terms of preserving the music for future generations, FLAC/SHN (or similar) is the only way to go.

Here is the White Session I mentioned earlier.Unfortunately I don't have the tracks in FLAC format. If anyone thinks it's inappropriate to share it on here,I'll take the link down. But that said,it's really worth a download and the one that I'd most like to share with you.Enjoy :D

I've been listening to the Royal Albert Hall gig - great quality recording (whatever the format!), fabulous to relive the show. That lovely deep, twangy guitar on Lady Solitude and Dark Road has made my knees go distinctly weak! :D

I have fallen in love all over again with Richard and his music.......... I need a live gig! :D

Glad people are enjoying the shows, wobbly knees and all :D

Thankyou for the white session I didn't have that, and its much appreciated :D

I'll put the next lot of shows up in lossless format, please be ptient it will take 5 or 6 times longer for me to put up a show and probably 5x longer for you guys to download it in its entirety but this way everyone gets the show in the best quality available. It will take me a few weeks but eventually everyone will have all the Hawley shows on my list, all i ask is that you remember me and if you come across any shows i don't have upload them or pm me.

eventually i will re-up the mp3 shows as well and delete the links.

Folks, thank you so much for making these live shows available. I am in the process of monopolising the office internet connection and downloading them.

Cheers, Steve.

I've just done the first Rapidshare download and when I tried the second was told I could not do any more and now I have to pay to download any more - so now I can't get the other downloads. :(

I shall be using Megaupload for mine as they don't charge to use it.

Just clear your cookies and history, quit your browser, drop the broadband connection, then fire it all back up again. Works every time!

I think you'll find those were various MP3's from the original (now retired) Hawley website - special versions recorded just for the website/fans to download.

They were definitely well before 2006 as they were on the site when I discovered Richard and his music.

The EP as such was a special creation by Alf Button rather than an official release.

I think all you need to do is disconnect from internet, wait for one or two seconds and then reconnect. The Rapidshare download limit is simply based on the IP address,so you just need a new IP address.Every time you connect to the internet,a dynamic IP address is automatically assigned to your computer,so the download limit problem is solved right away.I don't think it has anything to do with the cookies or history....

Since Bobster mentioned the website exclusive recording, does anyone have the last track 'I'm On Nights' on that page which is not available now?

It'd be really appreciated if anyone could upload it....Thanks in advance...

I've tried just hanging up and reconnecting, and that didn't work for me, but I have my browser set to clear all cookies/history and whatever else every time I quit anyway.

Hi Bobster, just wanted to add a massive thanks for uploading the Albert Hall Gig. I have been looking out for a download for ages and this has made my day, and no doubt the Missus will be pleased too. She burst into tears when Hotel Room was played at this gig
