Hiya Richard--

Perhaps a little early to be asking this, but will you be playing again in Castleton this year for Christmas? I'm in Vancouver these days and want to know if I should start saving my pennies for a transatlantic flight now.

i am 99% certain i will not be playing there again this year,it was fun and i thank the folk of castleton very much for being so fantastic, generous and kind it was a lot of fun..........but i think it got out of hand last year in a few ways i won't go into...99% of it was fab..i will be thinking of something else maybe something slightly warmer may be a good idea or actually giving the whole crimbo thing a miss all togetherImage

As Elvis says "it won't be like Christmas without you" :*:

Last year at Castleton wasn't as special, but then again the first year was especially magical.

Perhaps we can all have a sing song (by that I mean you sing we listen!) round the Xmas tree at City Hall? :*:

I did not get to any of the xmas shows, would have loved to have gone. I play the album to death still though.

You could always come to my school and play in the hall as long as you promise not to swear.

'I'm On Nights' is gone and 'Baby Your My Light' is on, mis-print or new version?

I'm On Nights is on the album so it's an error.

Though

If Mr H maybe wants to give the usual chrimbo show a miss, I wonder if he's ever considered doing a one off show for the hardcore fans, and playing some more unusual stuff like b-sides, or even some stuff from the first two albums that doesn't often get an airing? I'm sure there's plenty on here who'd be as excited as me to hear room with a view, hank marvin, love of my life, coming home etc live.. just a thought anyway :D
