Had to pick the Man of the Match for a Leyton Orient game once a few years back (it's a long story!). They had a special part of the ground for VIP guests – think the seats had cushions on them and the floor was painted a different colour.
Anyway, Barry Hearn was there with his wife and Malcolm Allison with his wife. He was wearing a full length fur coat, which looked like it had been made out of wolves (not the team, the animal). And he was bathed in after shave, which wafted around our bit of the ground for the whole match.
I can honestly say that, until that point, I'd never seen two men like them – and I still don't know whether that's a compliment or not!
