We agreed not to get each other anything and that we would go out for a meal on Friday instead of going out tonight.

Then the sneaky little so-and-so got flowers delivered to my office

I think it's lovely...................... provided you have a partner that is! Totally miserable for those on their own though!

But yes it is also terribly commercialised - especially in restaurants where you get chucked out after an hour for the next sitting......... and prices are raised for the evening.............. :?

like anything else there is the over comercialised bollocks going on, but anyone who falls for it is a worse eejit, Ive never been arsed really if I was on my own on Valantines day all the same too much to be getting on with, but hey if you are with someone its nice to get and to send a card, go for a meal or do whatever. (this is as about as romantic as I get)

This is a bit extreme - but I suppose as it's for charity............

got a dozen roses this morning, which although it is all commercialised bollox, was a wonderful surprise.

Fact: Unexpected flowers make ladies smile. We can't help it. :D
