One of the true American greats and original Sun rockers, I feel very sad we've lost a great performer and artist and one of the very last links to Sun records, one of the most important record labels of all time rest in peace Sonny ..>

Just seen this, really gutted. Those Sun records have a sound nobody else was making a sound like it - "rockabilly trumpet" 8) A great voice and part of something in the ether that came through him. Great at nursery songs
