I saw an elsebound train, on the overpass
In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

RIP Earl. Love the drums on Little Richard's records - always sounded like there was a wildness to match the voice

Going to have to get a copy of that book. Little Richard is one of my faves and always been a fan of that booming style of drumming.

last night's mark lamarr show was a return to his rock n roll show after several weeks of reggae.

last night was ENTIRELY records with earl palmer on drums. he read a list of tunes he played on and it got more and more astonishing.

listen again folks, it's top.
