Yes, I believe you are correct. It's the first one I've bought with that form of blade. It's very solid & has a nice weight to it, and good strong spring.

Stan Shaw - I'm in awe of his skills. I wasn't sure if he was still producing knives. ..>

I would love to do that. I understand he is at Kelham Island. Has quite a waiting list for his knives, I believe.

Thank you! Sheepfoot knife will be a brilliant 50th Birthday present for my brother. Been struggling for ages trying to come up with something special.

Snap! Kids going back to school and the germs are racing around like wildfire. Dragged myself in to work and the lovely Bengali lad I sit next to is getting me a blisteringly hot dahl for my dinner. Long recognised as the only cure for a rotten cold, I shall be ready for clubbing by tonight.

Oh, and it's that time of year where you need to have the giving up the fags conversation. You know it makes sense... xxxx

The bloke who sits next to me has colitis, and smoking, quite bizarrely, helps him keep it in remission. But obviously, what's making him better is killing him so he's tried the vaping and, equally bizarrely, it is working, keeping his health in check and satisfying his need for fags. In fact, he vapes at his desk and is doing it right now, vanilla flavour, makes him smell like a Magnum. Although, I don't want to eat him...

Does vaping come in the category of relinquishing control of how other people see you but not minding anyway? A bit like taking an old lady shopping trolley to Sainsburys; realising that young men are putting you in the same mental category as their mums, not their girlfriends; letting the greys come through, even though you could dye them; wearing thermal vests when it's cold; or sporting sleeveless tops, even though you're aware you have the beginning of bingo wings?

Or having too much Day Nurse to get you through work and talking shit on the forum? xxxx

I thought the last bit was a madatory with regard membership.

I put me back out getting up from a chair the other day.

I think with packing in the fags you need something to occupy your hands - any suggestions folks? :cyclopsani:
