Otto is quite spirited, he doesn't like strangers - or men in glasses or hats!
He used to stay in our workshop with us & nip my behind when he got bored! I once chased him round the workshop with the broom - which he attacked! When my friend got him I suggested she call him 'Bomber' as he was such a big bouncy thing.

It's odd what animals will pick up on to react to...though I guess not much different than humans, we just can't ask them what they are thinking. A friend of mine had a parakeet that was terrified of new shoes and cello cases. Not violin cases or old shoes, just new ones and cello cases. The bird, named Peru, would squawk, shit and run if he saw one.

It was unfortunate, because both my friend, her mother, played cello and frequently there would be three or four cello players in the house at the same time. Not to mention my friend's penchant for new shoes.

She has not been too much trouble today. You can't take your eyes off her when she is awake, she keeps getting into mischief. When she sleeps I don't want to disturb her so I watched cooking shows on T.V. this morning and read the paper.

She has longer hair now than when my daughter bought her, but it is not as long as our GSD had. Its nearly two years since she had to be put down with ill health. This dog reminds me so much of Dusky, except when she is naughty, when I automatically call her Tara - the name of our other dog, she was a black GSD cross. Hahaha - I just did it again.

I can't be an insomniac tonight, we still have the dog and I have work tomorrow. I will have to be up early to feed and walk her. Luckily I am working in walking distance from home so can get to see her at lunchtime. She goes home tomorrow.
