The line up is:
***BARDWELLS***
Australia’s premier Kings Have Long Arms tribute act. Named after KHLA’s debut single ‘Prince Shops At Bardwells’ this is an rare chance to see possibly the most surprising tribute band around. Electronica of the finest calibre - while the real McCoy can fill the Leadmill, these guys will leave you feeling that you’ve seen them in a much smaller venue. One not to miss.
***PADDY ORANGE***
After recent sell out shows at The Plug and The Grapes, The ‘Rotherham Bard’ brings his exciting live set to DQ.
"On the bus journey down we had no idea what to expect from Paddy and his gang, only what we'd heard on their Myspace. How shocked we were when they stepped on stage and the dancefloor went from two highly inebriated birds dancing the flamenco, to not being able to move an inch for people, jam packed as it was with devoted fans. The contrast between Paddy Orange's down to earth, slap you in the face rhymes and the angelic, up lifting voice of Sophie Bramley-West made the performance that much more unique. This alongside backing beats and riffs by MinusBlue, Dougie and Dan J meant we were in the company of another Sheffield band that could go far. So if you had the misfortune to be anywhere else but here, check out

***NEIL MCSWEENEY***
I’ll leave the introduction to the review of last year’s Grapes gig in The Guardian:
“Sheffield singer-songwriter Neil McSweeney has been called "the most miserable man alive" on one internet forum and even "the Sheffielder most likely to kill himself" on another. None of this squares with his chirpy demeanour. Struggling to tune his guitar, he quips: "One day I'll have little men in black suits scurrying on, handing me £2,000 guitars." However, the intensity arrives with his music: deeply felt, brooding songs rich in imagery. With fingers plucking magical hooks from the tuneless acoustic, McSweeney sings of lives on the margins: about being thrown out of pubs and phoning a friend who is never there, or asserting his identity by "pissing" his name in the snow. He sounds like a cross between Tim Buckley, Leonard Cohen and, implausibly, a male Tracy Chapman. The audience are hushed to the point of near-trance by Postcards and Flowers, and profound lines like "city life is wearing thin ... and so is my skin". He earns what he says is an unexpected encore. "Get used to it!" somebody shouts”

DJ sets are from e3sa934 and his legendary 7” collection and the residents.
Look forward to seeing you all there for what is guaranteed to be a fantastic night
Love and hugs
