Stacks of bands have done that though, Eoin. Some of them have been superb as well - look at The Pirates for example. OK a bit different because Johnny Kidd was dead, but as far as The Jam is concerned weller might as well be - he's always made it very clear there could never be a reunion. Much as I was, and remain, a huge Jam fan, I really have no problem with it. Those guys were original members of the band, so why shouldn't they be allowed to play the songs? In the end, the public will decide if its a success or not.
