Any possibility is a long way off for me but in an idle moment I like to think where I'll be after I finish university (apart from working in McDonalds). I love a lot of things about the UK but I don't want to spend the rest of my life here and the increasing infringements into our civil liberties really fuck me off.

Did you emigrate? What are you experiences? Or if you haven't would you consider it?

No chance - haven't got the money and I like this country too much. I've never been happier living where I do so I'm staying put for a good while yet. Like visiting other places but I'm too much of a homebird really to emigrate.

as you probably know, I lived in paris for a while, couldnt reccomend it enough really. I'd move back myself in a flash if my circumstances were a little different now.

Lived in France for a year which was great.

Pretty much anywhere was better than being on the dole in Hull though (which I was after abandoning a teaching course after a miserable 6 months - that fact that I was due to do my second teaching practice in a school on the Bransholme estate suggested things weren't going to get any better) - that's how I ended up in London for 11 years.

Paris mate. I can see you in a beret, a stack full of gauloise and lounging about in the afternoons in some cafe discussing the issues of the day and then everyone agreeing that France is wonderful.

there's nowhere like NYC... they say the grass is always greener and i thought i'd love to be in the UK for awhile. after less than 6 months i sounded like dorothy in her ruby slippers. personally i say none of the above... am partial to the idea of a sunny spot near the ocean. tell me again what you're studying? journalism?
