Next gig for RS is at the Greystones, Sheffield on Sat 28th June.

Roaming Son are a Sheffield based band that bring influences from the classic rock'n'roll recordings of the 50's and 60's, mixing twangy slapback guitars, greasy bass, heavy drums and earthy vocals, but creating a distincly fresh modern sound.
Comparisons have been made to bands such as Dr Feelgood, The Pirates, Rev Horton Heat, The Clash, and the Stray Cats. Come and see an incendary live gig and make up your own mind.
Formed in 2011, they have created a buzz on the local music scene headlining venues such as Sheffield 02 Academy, The Plug, and The Leadmill, as well as supporting artists such as Big Boy Bloater, KatMen, Dan Baird & Homemade Sin, Jason & The Scorchers, Virgil & The Accelerators. Scorcher's guitars Warner was so impressed with the band that he asked them to back him up on a couple of dates of his solo tour in dec 2013.
They have recieved local press coverage, as well as gaining 'Best Live Band 2013' award from Sheffield Scenester. They released their self financed limited release debut E.P. 'History Of Violence' in 2013.

The Tom Killner band is a hard hitting original Blues, Funk, Soul & Rock band based in Rotherham, and was formed in February 2012.

It was not long before they were on the blues scene, with one of the first gigs being the British stage at The Great British Blues Festival; the band went from strength to strength playing many venues over the UK. This is no ordinary blues band; this is a band with a wide mix of funk, soul and rock. The band has a unique and defined sound that stands out from the crowd

This is going to be a double bill of hard hitting blues & rock 'n' roll in an intimate venue you do not want to miss!
