I don't get out enough to decide which is big, medium or small as any night out that doesn't involve Sainsbury's is a fairly good one for me.

This year, my best were Gregory Porter at the Bloomsbury Theatre, H at the Troxy (good gig, great venue, charming company of the Dickster and Caroline) and new skanking ska lovelies The Delegators at the Borderline (see, you heard it here first).

This year, I will not resolve – as resolutions are for mugs and people with more staying power than me – nay, I will intend to go to a gig a month, highlights already shaping up are yer man Porter, The Delegators again but at the Jazz Cafe (which I love), Nick Lowe at the Union Chapel and May Day with lovely Billy. And if by some chance the rumours of a Faces reunion are at all true, I shall be a very happy woman. x
