I thought some of you good folk might be interested in a record club I've started. It's sort of like a book group or film society, but for records. In Glossop.

We did the first one last month and it went down a treat. The next one is on Thursday next week (10th October). Quiet Loner (a name familiar to some of you) is curating the evening, and he's playing an album each by Elvis Presley (From Elvis In Memphis) and Elvis Costello (King Of America) on vinyl and in full. We're doing a little 'Elvis Vs Elvis' quiz as well with a few prizes up for grabs (someone's donated a ukelele to the prize stash) and playing a load of Presely and Costello related tunes as well (I've got Hawley's version of Devil In Disguise on the playlist).
