I got my ticket sorted!! :Hoorah

Now I just have to sort out logistics ie how to get there where to stay if I have to overnight and getting time off work.

Anyone know any cheap-ish hotels nearby?

I booked the etap next to the arena for £29. http://www.etaphotel.com/gb/hotel-6176-etap-hotel-sheffield-arena-soon-ibis-budget/index.shtml

I stayed at an Etap hotel last year, the one near Derby. It is certainly a budget hotel but well worth the price we paid.

Yay got standing tickets today! Was dead lucky, by the time I'd finished my transaction the standing was all sold out (and I kept pressing refresh to make sure I got on there as soon as possible)!

Can't wait!

I really hope Richard is supporting Pulp, that would be the icing on the cake! Can't you get some insider information Denise?

Gutted i wont make this as it could be the last chance as i or anyone gets going by the Jarvis interview on NME today. Was kinda hoping they might have made a new record but always a long shot ohhh well.

In the driving rain, every ticket costs the same
For where you can't go
Mustang horses, champagne glasses
Anything frail anything wild
It's the price of living motion, what's beautiful is broken
And grace is just the measure of a fall.

Sadly Richard is not the support act, it's a group called The Boxettes. The arena have announced the stage times as:

6.30pm Doors Open
7.30pm The Boxettes
8.30pm Pulp
11.00pm Curfew

http://www.motorpointarenasheffield.co. ... s-on/pulp/

Fingers crossed though that Richard will still be playing as part of Pulp...

Dave

Woo Hoo! Jimmy Porter are venturing south to Sheffield tomorrow for the Pulp gig. Hopefully it'll be a bit warmer than Edinburgh, as up here it's been pure Baltic, to use the local vernacular.
