Yes, it's another thrilling day at work ...

I'm going to order some fairtrade sweets for the office for my birthday. My favourite possibilities are above, but I don't know which people would like best. What do you guys think?

I'd like to bring some in for you, too, but I think distribution might be a problem. :(

Oh gosh, good idea and thoroughly worthwhile cause, but I'm sorry when it comes to chocolate, for me it has to have a "Cadbury's" * logo on it. So none of the above for me thanks. Still if you could squeeze a 'Fuse' bar in........

*(This stems from having a mum who used to work at Cadbury's in Bournville. Guess what she used to bring home to her kids? Mind you as so happens in these cases she can't stand chocolate!!)

Cool! :D Does Cadbury's have a big chocolate-themed tourist centre the way Hershey's does in America?

Well believe it or not.......it's called Cadbury World. It's supposed to be more 'educational' in so much as it tries to tell the story of chocolate production over the years (but you actually go to scoop up the free choccy bars handed out along the route).

Well he's hardly likely to go for the cannibalistic 6th option.

Hardly touch sweets myself now either, but i'd manage a Cappuccino chocolate bar.

It's somehow reassuring to know you have to suffer them in Denmark too. I remember seeing them on British TV (where they are known as Werther's Originals, of course) and then being amazed to see the commercials on German TV. They were almost identical, but with different actors, as if somebody had gone to extreme lengths to duplicate the original.

Do you get the Merci, Riesen Chocolate and Kinder Milk Slice adds as well? Like Raoul Duke would have said - "this is what the world would have looked like if the Nazis had won the war"

Er...no I don't think we do get that. Dubbed adverts are a great source of amusement for me. The "Oust" advert is a current favourite. Just watching Sean's temples throbbing while his blood boils at the indignation that they can foist these adverts upon us. :*:
