Bah humbug you coldies!

Being a keen student of the female form, bring on the warmth and the clothes they don't wear. Nothing better than a lunchtime stroll around a city centre patch of grass to check on tanning levels.

:WOOHOO

Well, not for quite the same reason as Dee Dee, but I'm surprised so many of you like the cold...must say, I don't like wearing lots of clothes either! *

I'm useless with streetnames but I think I do know where Herga Road is. The Wealdstone FC ground is indeed now a Tesco, and not a bad one either. The pub where the High Numbers played (as seen in the gatefold sleeve of Meaty, Beaty, Big & Bouncy) burnt down about four years ago, after standing empty for a few years.

I've chosen not to live in Wealdstone, but I work there.

Wealdstone rivals Wembley and Grafton, West Virginia, U.S.A., in my list of most depressing places in the developed world. I understand it used to be nicer than it is now, though.

I prefer cold days -- and I love rain and snow!

Summer time invariably means hay fever and asthma, not to mention being attacked by wasps and bloody daddy long legs.

Fascinating fact (erm ... not really): In America, the term 'daddy longlegs' refers to an entirely different creepy-crawly than it does in Britain. Behold the American daddy longlegs:

These, too, are summer creatures. They're completely harmless, but really creeped me out as a kid.
