they were at the mojo awards they all looked suitably pissed off with each other,i hope they enjoy it met Mr Dammers big hero of mine i will try and get along |

According to a piece on Irish radio today, Jerry Dammers is not taking part because he wasn't asked to! The radio presenter described it as "a coup" organised by people in HIS own band. They didn't want him involved! Sad, if this is the truth. |

Sad, if this is the truth. Hmm...apparently at the couple of festival shows they played unannounced, he was spotted side of stage watching, but didn't take part....curiouser and curiouser... |

Specials gig ----- Ricoh Arena , Coventry ---- 15th May. Tickets on sale 9 am today . Local paper says Dammer not playing. |

What was I doing at a Specials gig? mine was autumn '79 Portsmouth Guildhall, support from The Selector and Madness ... it was great ... and I was ...  ... only 3
