Saw Edwyn tonight - absolutely bloody brilliant. Roddy Frame on guitar rocking the house down.

Support from The Rockingbirds was excellent (and their guitarist joined Edwyn on stage).

What an absolutely fantastic night ... :Hoorah I hadn't heard of the Rockingbirds before - they were brilliant. Edwyn was fantastic and what can I say about Roddy Frame .. his guitar playing was absolutely superb ..... and I think he must have a picture in his attic because he just doesn't look any older!

I hope there's a video

Worth watching for Roddy's guitarwork.

Didn't think it would take long before someone posted something!!

Definitely worth the (very reasonable) ticket price to go to the 'In The City' festival in Manchester on 5 October - wish I could go!

There's no further dates on his web site.

They had a small exhibition of the Bird drawings at the Queen Elizabeth Hall as well, including Mr Hawley's (I think it was a photocopy rather than the original).

Roddy is at the Cadogan Hall the night before the Tony Christie gig(November)and Edwyn is doing the Manchester 'In The City' thing on October 5th (not sure if Roddy will be performing with him there as well).

Glad to hear you enjoyed the festival :*:

Fantastic night.

From 1900 we saw John Head (Shack), Loose Salute, Romeo Stodart (Magic Numbers), Edwyn Collins (with Roddy Frame on guitar) and Simon Aldred (Cherry Ghost).

Edwyn Collins was definitely the highlight for me, and Roddy Frame's guitar sounded amazing!
