what i might do (if you don't mind) is maybe list you a few of my favourite songs, then if it's easy for you to do then just point me in the direction of decent sets where he plays any songs i've mentioned?

cold roses is brilliant! it was actually 'demolition' that first got me into him, few years ago now. like i mentioned earlier i saw him in nottingham and he blew me away.

i'd heard rumours that he could be somewhat disappointing live, tales of being drunk and making a fool out of himself. but he was superb, very professional with a great sense of humour.

now i've found a 'hardcore' fan....i shall pose a question.

this was the gig i went to - http://www.last.fm/event/296587/reviews

what is 'freeway to the canyon'?! it was simply perfect live and have no version of the song either by ryan or whoever it's by (i was thinking it wasn't a ryan adams song?)

much appreciated! :)

it's a neal casal solo song, he plays guitar in the cardinals as ryan adams and the cards are now known, he sings a couple of tunes and has been support for the cardinals and then played with them as headline on tour, legend.

The song is off no wish to remenise (spelling)

It gets played quite alot, along with you can't see me crying also.

Apparently on the next album, the 1st cardinals album ryan and neal are to both take on singing and songwriting duties.

Neal is an amazing artist in his own right.

there is a show at the ryman last year where some "frat" guys were giving him some shit and he sung a really great version of Games at them, that's on the jacksonville live compilation and on youtube too.

I could go on about this all day but its nearly home time and gotta gig tonight.
