We're off to see EC tomorrow in Liverpool at the Philharmonic hall - Never been before - can anyone tell me a) where to park b) anywhere we can grab something to eat as we'll have to set off from Sheff about 5p.m ?
Quite looking forward to it -last time we saw him was in the Octagon about three years ago - should be good!

You're spoilt for choice round the Phil.

The Fly in the Loaf is excellent and you've got The Crack (or Ye Cracke) off Hardman Street and the Pilgrim.

Before the Hawley gig at the Philharmonic last autumn we went for a few scoops at The Fly while Mr H was sniffing toilet seats at The Phil. Great pub, but can get packed before concerts. I'd do The Fly and The Phil, both within 100 yards or so.

P.S. Any plans for a return to Liverpool in our Capital of Culture year, Mr H?

Never thought I'd be posting links for public toilets, but here goes...

Is it a Richard Hawley or a George Michael board?

This gives viewers a panoramic virtual tour of The Phil's world famous bogs!!
