I watched Glastonbury highlights on BBC Three. Annie 'Mash Up' Mac, Nick Grimshaw (who they?) re-created the Mick Fleetwood, Samantha Fox double act. What tosh. Plenty of witter, little music.

Do people still say 'check this out' and 'massive?' And what are 'real fezzy moments?' Huh?? :eh?

The deadly dull duo wore big green, muddy wellies to prove they were at Glasto and the makeshift studio even had log piles...confirmation that these bods are earthy, I guess. It was enough to give me piles.

If the BBC must break up the music with chat, talk to some real people with something to say.

I couldn't give a cup of monkey toss what you had for lunch, Annie and Nick.

They interviewed The Cribs and Fatboy Slim who looked sufficiently bored to fall asleep mid-sentence.

I know, I know. Some of you young things are thinking 'piss off grandad.'

Bring back and Andy Peebles and Annie Nightingale, I say...

Perhaps this should have gone on RANT! Arrghh.... :bom:

The broadcast that's just started has the sound out of synch!

Damn, pre-recording probably means they will keep cutting to interviews with other people, but hopefully they will interview Guy at the end.

Elbow got 30 minutes on the red button and they showed 'The Fix'. Was a marvellous performance and Richard looked like he was rather enjoying himself, even though he had to get his mic turned up after his opening lines.

aye I saw that, their set was *great*.

no 1 for me so far has been Massive Attack's performance of Angel which was absolutely stunning, made me wish I was there (despite completely agreeing with this - http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/music/2008/ ... ivals.html :*: )

Also good to see Jay Z putting the mockers on the idiot Gallagher's comments. I'm no fan of Mr Z at all but god that narrow minded fool got put in his place. Arf.

A few 'snapshots' from the TV performance (excuse the word menu not sure why that appeared and if anyone knows how I could have got rid of it let me know).
