Didn't know Sheffield had its own blues festival - I'm hoping to get to Notodden Blues Festival (Ray Davies, Koko Taylor, Bill Wyman's Rythm Kings & John Hiatt are just some of the people who will be playing this year)

yep, it's only a small thing really, but built up overthe last 8 years, all local sheffield blues bands play, past couple of years we've had one big venues having loads of bands on, whil other pubs have bands on in the evening.
we had a blast on saturday, got a good response for our set, i stayed to see a couple of other bands, dropped gear off home, then came back to see Sheffield guitar legend (& Richard's Uncle) Frank White.
the pub was really busy, pretty much standing room only!
was a great day / night, and we'll be doing it all again next year!!
