Anyone going? Been before? I went two years ago when the likes of Robbie Fulks and Alejandro Escovedo were on the bill - and we're playing this time. If anyone is going, come and say hello!

We're called Elvis Fontenot & the Sugar Bees

Apart from ourselves, the line-up includes - CHUCK PROPHET, TIFT MERRITT, FRED EAGLESMITH, TIM O'BRIEN, CHATHAM COUNTY LINE, MALCOLM HOLCOMBE, EILEN JEWELL, MARTHA SCANLAN, TOM FUN ORCHESTRA, HILLBILLY CASINO, BASKERY, SAM BAKER (Sorry for the capitals - I just cut and pasted)

Apologies for the plug, but it's getting closer and I'm excited....

good chance I'll be heading on down alright, been promising to go for ages, never been to the festival before but Kilkenny I have been and it is a great town with plenty of awesome pubs, restaurants and hotels. As far as the gigs go I've known the lineup stronger in the past but its bound to be a blast regardless plenty of people playing who I havent heard beofre so bound to be a musical education or somethin anyway. if I make it down I will check you lot out for sure. Best of luck with it.

Just got back from Kilkenny - didn't manage to see anybody except Chatham County Line (who were great - they're going to be on Jools Holland in a couple of weeks and the poor lads are bricking it, or so they told us!) and Two Time Polka, who are good folks. We played to boisterous, enthusiastic crowds for all 5 of our gigs in 2 and a bit days..I'm knackered and have to go to work tomorrow..the double life of a Head of English in a Catholic School....
