It was pretty awesome. Someone has put videos of most of the tracks on You Tube - loved Black Blizzard and Geraldine.

Pale Green Ghosts was pretty immense, Caramel was gorgeous (as usual).

Here's Black Blizzard

Go, you Sheffield types. I would come but brass bands make me cry and that's just not seemly...

Paul Heaton & Jacqui Abbott last night.........Brilliant, both their voices were as good as we have ever heard them live. New and old stuff with variations of old. Excellent :D
Only downside was missing RH in London!!

Yesterday Saturday 13th December 2014 House Gig Trefriw

Neil McSweeney

This was really neat - the house was open plan so with Neil situated in a corner he had two flanks of seats spreading away from him with the audience numbering about 60.

It was all quiet and respectful at the start however this nicely fell away with a bit of banter coming in as the night went on - I would say the vast majority had not heard of Neil before so with regard to getting things across - an attentive audience always helps.

Hotel to venue approx 300 hundred steps was also a bonus...

Next Friday 19th December Klondyke Club Levenshulme

Lonesome & Penniless Cowboys <hopefully>

Well......how feckin' good was that!! Loved the venue and Anna backed with an orchestra and female
choir.......both beautiful and stunning. Top guests and fantastic set list.

Anna played:
The Bridge
Rider To The Sea
Sing To Me
I'm The Man That Will Find You (Featuring Dave Okumu)
First We Kiss
Papi Pacify
Strange Weather (Featuring Charlie Fink)
Desire
No More Words (Featuring Dave Okumu)
Fire
Kiss To Your Twin (Featuring Patrick Wolf)
Suzanne And I
Love Won't Be Leaving
Encore:
Lady Grinning Soul
Ghost Rider
Eliza

One embarrassing moment.....drove down Saturday morning and parked at the church (£7.20 for the
full day...paid more than that for 3 hours in York! ), decided to get the bus to Brick Lane and
Spitalfields.......only tried to give the bus driver money for the fare! I didn't know!

Fab day. :Hoorah
