Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay last night in Biddulph. Great country duets and sharp wit. Next - Trampled by Turtles at Gorilla in Manchester on Monday.

Lykke Li last night at the Albert Hall in Manchester.......stunning! ..>

The band and all the set in black, just the odd flicker of gold lighting with the main spotlights
brilliant, almost chrome white. Very atmospheric. Really good set list. Highly recommended. ..>

Second time to the Albert Hall; the sound and the acoustics are probably the best I've heard
anywhere. Not sure if Hawley has played there (sure someone will put me straight), but I hope
it's on the list for the next tour. :Hoorah

Next up....Robert Plant. :Hoorah

St John's Church is a great venue, Egg. Happy to give you some pub/grub tips for the top if you're venturing down that way. x

Tickets bagged! :Hoorah Thinking of doing a bit of :santa: shopping around Spitalfields and grabbing
some street food down Brick Lane. All depends on what time we get off and if it's pissing down!

Other ideas welcomed. ..>

Saw Paper Aeroplanes at the Union Chapel Islington on Thursday, a really great gig (and venue). I do recommend this band, its a mystery to me why they are not better known.

Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott last night at King George's Hall Blackburn.......quite simply a top, top
night. Great venue, great mix of old and new songs, building to what was almost a party atmosphere.
Excellent banter from Mr Heaton.

Love gigs where the band come across as they're having as much fun as the audience.

Tickets still on sale for a few venues on the tour...........do it! ..>

Next up.....Anna Calvi :Hoorah http://richardhawleyforum.co.uk/templates/exposion_dark/images/logo_phpBB_med.gif http://richardhawleyforum.co.uk/templates/exposion_dark/images/logo_phpBB_med.gif http://richardhawleyforum.co.uk/templates/exposion_dark/images/logo_phpBB_med.gif :Hoorah
