Flight of the Conchords, Adelaide Entertainment Centre last Friday. Show was excellent and lots of fun, but the people in the crowd were very annoying. Constant (and I mean constant, not just one or two, but all the time) trips to the bar/toilet. Very disruptive in a seated venue. If you want to drink a load, go to the pub – but why pay $90 for a gig and not sit and watch it?? Then there’s the drunken heckling and shouting that follows. Really pissed me off. Never did much like big gigs but that would have been ok if people would have just sat and watched it. Grrr...

Am now somewhat dreading the c-word unmentionables in a football stadium.

Yet another rant from your whinging pom in the field (sorry).

Jonathan Wilson at the Lexington last night - another fantastic show, great band too. Set included an impromptu version of the ballad of John and Yoko! He also did a few new songs that he said will be on his next album - working on it later this year and expected out next spring :D . Looking forward to seeing him again (with Roy Harper) at the End of the Road festival next month.

Turned up - nice small bar on the main Aigburth drag out of Liverpool - had a pint - not many folk there - say 30 - 10 were obviously Amy fans - the others mainly loud lairy Scousers starting a night out - when they ordered more drinks rather than moving on I had me pint came home - pissed off - probably should post this on the PO thread...

Staying at our daughters flat around the corner from Union Chapple in North London, handy and cheap. She has gone to Croatia to Suncebeat, that looks like fun :Hoorah Quite fancy that next year 8) Oh the joys of matureing
