The Brixton show on Sunday night was rockin' too. Although the crowd took a while to get warmed up and they didn't really start dancing 'til the encore. I don't know how they could possibly stand still myself! The Jim Jones Revue got a bit of a cool reception for some reason that I still haven't worked out. Weird how gigs sometimes go like that. Maybe it's coz it was a Sunday.... I had a brilliant time though and moved away from the eejits booing the support and jigged away to both bands! http://richardhawleyforum.co.uk/templates/exposion_dark/images/logo_phpBB_med.gif

The Jack Turner track "Everybody's rockin' but me" was on a Mojo cover CD that was a Clash themed/inspired one - I've got it on my iPod somewhere. Great track...and anything with Rusty & Doug Kershaw on, is fine by me.

I've only got the 45prm single of 'Hey Mae' - nowt else. There's some earlier Hillbilly stuff i've heard which is good, but I prefer to hear them do more stuff like Hey Mae, so i'll go searching

I'll look out for that comp too

Not rockabilly, but from the same era - an r'n'b instrumental from the late '50's, released over here in the '60's
