Heh, pretty cool. Sounds like John Lewis on vocals there.

Documentary on Johnny Powers

https://prescreen.com/movie/Rockabilly

Johnny Powers is an icon in the world of American roots music. Named
after a Powerhouse candy bar, Johnny Powers recorded for two of the
most legendary record labels in American music at a time when rock ‘n roll barely had a name - Sun Records in Memphis and Motown Records in
Detroit - all before he was 22 years old. Told in his own words through intimate interviews with producer Tom Conner and accompanied by plenty of archival footage and photos, Johnny takes us on a journey spanning over 50 years of his music with plenty of stops along the way.

After leaving Motown in 1965, Johnny pursued a career as a record producer/music publisher. He was later re-discovered as an artist and by the mid-eighties Johnny had been convinced by European concert
promoters and friends to rekindle his long dormant career as a performer. His career still thrives today (at age 73) in the circles populated by fans of rockabilly music in places like England, Japan, France and the good old USA.

Tomorrow, 23:00 on BBC Radio 2

Rockin' singer-songwriter Imelda May and husband Darrel Higham bring you an hour of their favourite rockabilly records old and new, including Bill Haley, The Jets, Patsy Cline and more.
Imelda fell in love with rockabilly and the blues at an early age. She began singing with swing troupe Blue Harlem and rock 'n' roller Mike Sanchez, before going solo. And in 2009 she knocked Bruce Springsteen off No. 1 to become the first female Irish artist to top the Irish album charts since Mary Black, nearly 20 years before.
In 2010 Imelda performed at the Grammys, paying tribute to Les Paul with Jeff Beck. She has also performed with Jools Holland, Elvis Costello, Lou Reed, and joined the line-up at Radio 2 Live In Hyde Park this September. Additionally she sang for President Obama during his recent visit to Ireland.
Darrel Higham is a veteran of the UK and US rockabilly scenes, a guitarist, writer and songsmith who, as well as performing with Imelda, also works as a solo artist and with his backing band, The Enforcers. He is recognised as a world authority on Eddie Cochran, and as one of the leading producers of contemporary rockabilly.
