Of course, but you could keep it and wait for him to die, then sell it for even more

One of my uni mates sold all the junk out of his flat at uni on ebay because he only had a fiesta and couldn't move it all. He made a packet.

Not exactly today's songs, but I've just been watching the cambridge folk festival highlights from last year which I videod on BBC4 the other night and was rather impressed by a band called The Waifs. Only two songs, but rather good...Anyone know anything about them???

The Waifs are quite wonderful, particularly live. They've been a support act to Bob Dylan, a lot in the States. I can only say, get to see them before they get a bigger audience.

The most recent album 'Up All Night' is the one to get (the band themselves don't say much about their earlier efforts). Vicky Waif plays a mean harmonica 8)

The band played a warm up gig in Birmingham, the night before the Folk Awards, and they were sensational. As the adage goes, they could have played all night.....ahhhhh happy days :D

Just had "love is hell"- Ryan Adams on, am now going to bed, early start tomorrow, taking "Stumble Into Grace" - Emmylou Harris to bed to gently lull me to sleep. I think "I Will Dream" is quite possibly the most beautiful song I've ever heard, though bloody hard to listen to when you're in a miserable nostalgic mood.
Bloody Hell!! I sound like Dave & Little Alun here, must go!

I'm currently at work, thoroughly enjoying mself, all on me own with "Myrmidons of Melodrama"- Shangri-la's blasting out. Someone walked in a bit ago, I reckon he thinks I'm a ravin loony, caught me singing merrily away to "Give him a great big kiss"
